Artwork Description:

Plateau is built through simplified, almost symbolic forms that create a calm yet weighty visual structure. Interwoven fields of pale grey, white, and earthy yellow evoke traces shaped by wind, time, and the raw force of nature—like a fragmented landscape seen from above.

Rather than depicting a literal scene, the artist uses abstract planes, carved-like brushwork, and layered textures to convey the vastness, stillness, and primal energy often associated with plateau landscapes. Within its restrained palette, the painting maintains a strong internal rhythm, giving the composition both a sense of expansive terrain and compressed emotional depth.

Plateau is not a straightforward representation of nature, but a distilled reflection on land, memory, and psychological space. Quiet yet powerful, abstract yet spatially grounded, the work carries a strong sense of presence.
