Artwork Description:

I Saw the Universe constructs a controlled visual environment where the human figure, symbolic elements, and spatial structure interact without relying on direct narrative.

The figure is deliberately elongated and destabilized, shifting the focus away from anatomical realism toward psychological tension. Surrounding forms—such as cross-like structures, ring shapes, and repeated droplet motifs—operate as visual signals rather than fixed symbols, suggesting internal pressure, rhythm, and emotional states.

The palette is restrained, dominated by soft greens and muted tones, compressing spatial depth and maintaining an even visual weight across the surface. There is no clear hierarchy between foreground and background, reinforcing a sense of suspension.

Rather than describing a specific scene, the work builds a space where perception, emotion, and structure intersect, inviting interpretation instead of recognition.
